WHY WOMEN IN O.C. TRAIN WITH US?

FREQUENTLY ASKED QUESTIONS

Do I need any experience to start women's self-defense classes in Orange County?

Not at all. Almighty Jiu-Jitsu welcomes absolute beginners with zero martial arts experience. You do not need to be athletic, flexible, or in shape. Our women’s self-defense program is designed for everyday women – students, working professionals, mothers, and seniors. We teach from the ground up, starting with basic awareness and progressing to physical techniques at your own pace. No sparring, no competition, and no pressure. Just practical skills that could save your life. Your first class is always free.

Yes. Unlike many martial arts that rely on strength, our self-defense system is based on Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu and wrestling – arts specifically designed for a smaller person to control and escape a larger opponent. You will learn leverage, angles, timing, and targeting vulnerable areas (eyes, throat, groin). We do not teach flashy moves that fail under stress. We teach simple, gross-motor techniques that work even when you are panicked or exhausted. The goal is not to win a fight – it is to survive, escape, and get home safely.

We are located in Huntington Beach, easily accessible from the 405, 55, and 73 freeways. We serve women from all across Orange County – from Santa Ana to San Clemente, from Irvine to Westminster. To get our exact location and schedule your first free women’s self-defense class, fill out the form on our Contact page. Your first class is always free – no obligation, no pressure, just a supportive introduction to life-saving skills.
