Located just minutes from the 55 and 405 freeways, our program teaches children how to handle bullies, recognize stranger danger, and protect themselves in unsafe situations – all in a fun, safe, and encouraging environment.
We are located in Huntington Beach, approximately 8-15 minutes from most Costa Mesa neighborhoods. Take the 55 or 405 freeway toward Huntington Beach. Exit at Beach Boulevard or Magnolia Street. Free parking is available. Families from Mesa Verde, Eastside Costa Mesa, and near South Coast Plaza find our location very convenient. Your child’s first class is always free.
We accept children as young as 4 years old into our Pee Wee program (ages 4-6). At this age, we focus on basic awareness and following instructions. Our Kids program (ages 7-12) teaches more advanced skills including escaping grabs and stranger danger. If your child can follow simple instructions for 30-45 minutes, they are ready. Your first class is always free – no obligation.
No. Our program teaches control, confidence, and knowing when to walk away. Costa Mesa parents enroll shy children to gain confidence and active children to learn calmness. Self-defense gives kids tools to stand up for themselves without becoming the bully. The skills are only for unsafe situations – never for playground disagreements.
