Located just minutes from the 405 freeway, our program teaches children how to handle bullies, recognize stranger danger, and protect themselves in unsafe situations – all in a fun, safe, and encouraging environment.
We are located in Huntington Beach, approximately 8-12 minutes from most Fountain Valley neighborhoods. Take the 405 freeway to the Beach Boulevard or Magnolia Street exit. Free parking is available. Many Fountain Valley families find our location faster to reach than other academies in Costa Mesa or Irvine. Your child’s first class is always free – no obligation.
We accept children as young as 4 years old into our Pee Wee program (ages 4-6). At this age, we focus on basic body awareness, following instructions, personal space, and yelling for help. Our Kids program (ages 7-12) teaches more advanced skills including escaping grabs and stranger danger awareness. If your child can follow simple instructions for 30-45 minutes, they are ready. Your first class is always free.
Absolutely not. Our program teaches control, confidence, and knowing when to walk away. Children learn that self-defense is only for unsafe situations, not for playground disagreements. Many Fountain Valley parents enroll their children specifically because they are shy or lack confidence. Self-defense gives them tools to stand up for themselves without becoming the bully.
